POLYCARBONATE TONFA 60 CM

SPEED, EFFECTIVENESS & SAFETY Electric defense devices, telescopic batons and tonfas are defensive and non-lethal tools. Brought from the United States in 1986 by Robert Paturel, former member of RAID, the tonfa was officially adopted by the French National Police in 1993.

It replaced the straight baton and is now used worldwide and by the majority of Police and Gendarmerie services. It is an excellent tool for deterrence and defense. The telescopic baton is a technical and material evolution for forces: more discreet, better reach and more deterrent. Electric defense devices allow for greater blocking and immediate immobilization of the aggressor.

In summary, electric defense devices, telescopic batons and tonfas are defense tools perfectly suited to law enforcement missions, providing a proportionate response and offering an ideal alternative to the use of firearms.

The longitudinal handle of this tonfa is ridged for better grip. The mushroom-shaped end prevents snatching and its pointed tip allows for different strikes, immobilizations or glass breaking.

The flat added along the entire length of the tonfa allows perfect retention in the position on the forearm in defensive phase. This also allows good distribution and attenuation of impacts received over a larger surface.
