An antistatic treatment as well as a Teflon treatment have been applied for added comfort. The antistatic treatment is a process used to reduce static electricity that accumulates in materials and helps prevent dust adhesion. As for the Teflon treatment, it adds a protective layer resistant to stains and water on the fabrics. It thus becomes water-repellent and sweat-resistant, while remaining lightweight and breathable.

The new version of the Guardian technical shorts has been designed to be extremely durable thanks to the treatments and reinforced seams that enhance abrasion resistance.
